I Play my IPod by Libby Hathorn

Standard

I play my iPod

And my feet dance and pound

I play my iPod

On the hilltops of sound.

I play my iPod

Down streets and then back,

Stop, start, fast forward

Replay the best track.

I play my iPod

But it carries me

Down highways and hallways

Fast, fancy and free.

Me and my headphones

Through, over, around,

I play my iPod

In mansions of sound.

My iPod takes me

To places so rare

In the temple of music

There’s never a care.

It’s easy and pleasy

And rhythm and rhymey

It’s easy and pleasy

and toe-tapping timey

I play my iPod

But it carries me

Down highways and hallways

Fast, fancy and free.
