Mothers Come Flying by Libby Hathorn

If you have bags,

Baskets, kids and prams,

It’s not that easy

On buses and trams.

Mothers are ace at it,

They set a pace at it,

Bundling and shoving and folding,

Swaying and swinging and holding.

And you should watch,

At their stop,

Mothers and babies

On the hop,

Bags and baskets, kids and prams,

Mothers come flying

Off buses and trams.
