Storm Came by Libby Hathorn

Clouds came

Scudding and soaring,

Storm broke

Raving, rip roaring.

In the garden

Branches bobbing,

In the drainpipes

Water sobbing,

In the doorways

Cats hobnobbing.

Rained eased,

Drifting and trailing,

Clouds flew by

Wisping and paling.

Anger spent,

Storm went.
